I agree with the post above; The Watch definitely deserve a shout. They are also performing in Wolverhampton's Robin 2 on the 13th June. Also the amazing Peter Hammill has some upcoming gigs in May at Cambridge, Wolverhampton and Glasgow.

I need to book tickets for High Voltage! Looks like an absolutely fantastic line-up so far.

Also Winter's End festival in Stroud on 27th/28th March, with some really good bands playing. Limited tickets though, so they may have sold out by now.

Hi

how about a shout for a good genesis cover band called The Watch who are playing in Glasgow at The Ferry on 12 Feb 2010 only £12 and they are doing all of the foxtrot album live plus a few other numbers and John Hacket and Nick Magnus are guesting with them. Sounds great.

check out their web site
http://www.thewatchmusic.net/

and a you tube clip of them playing the Knife live:

Nik Kershaw's acoustic set is a must see. Here we have a guy from the original Live Aid taking to the stage in small, intimate surroundings playing his much loved synth tunes stripped bare to the bone just how the original compostiions came to him in his head were first laid down. If you're not familiar with his more recent recordings you are also in for a treat because the guy is a wonderul songwriter still one of the best from his generation. Just the singer and his songs, on a stool, one spotlight, up close and personal. Nik's dry wit also makes the evening special. These opportunities are not to be taken for granted. Look for a venue near you and grab a ticket!
