So what's album about then?

Separate Together is a travel-inspired album that uses uplifting music to explore the wonders and positives of humanity. With smooth rhythms, mellow atmospheres and chilled vibes, I tried to capture the thrill of new adventures, the joy of human connections, and the eye and mind opening outcome that global travel presents. This is a happy upbeat album with a positive message, one inspired by my travels. Ive visited 34 countries to date; not a huge amount but enough to get a taster of some difference cultures.

Say What?

I wanted to portray a message of positivity, advocate a little understanding and highlight the commonality that we share rather than focus on the differences which plague our existence. If there is one thing that travel taught me is that we have, by far, a lot more in common with each other than differences. I believe we should acknowledge our differences but celebrate our commonality and in, my opinion, that would help the world be a much more understanding and happier place to live in.

Musical Style

Musically it’s a mix of songs and instrumentals including some smooth jazz, chill lounge and cool vibes. It’s chilled, invigorating and easy on the ear, with mellow atmospheres, catchy tunes, a little lounge, a little ambient and a little world music. Thats a lot of words but cool vibes ensue.
